YEAR 12 INDUCTION

YEAR 12 INDUCTION

As our 2018 Year 12 students move on to exam revision and university placement, it is time to formally welcome our 2019 students into the leadership of the school.

The Year 12 Induction Ceremony is always a highlight of the academic year, a time when we plan for the year ahead and look forward to the challenges with hope and optimism.

Year 12 Captain Sam Chipperfield was Master of Ceremonies, and School Captains for 2019 Darcy Dillon and Matthew Kent set the course for the year to come. In a new practice, acknowledging the new role of the House system in 2019, all boys were welcomed into Year 12 by their Year 12 House Captain – Ben Cross for Battye, Mitchell Axnick for Forsyth and James Agahi for Richards.

As always though, the photos of the boys in the year they began their St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School journey was the highlight of the ceremony, giving us all a chance to reflect upon how much they have grown over the years. Congratulations Class of 2019! We look forward to the year ahead!
