Success for St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar School at the Victorian Schools Cycling Championship Road Series at Casey Fields.

After three rounds of Mountain Biking, the HPV and Cycling Squad’s attention turned to Victorian School’s Road Cycling Championship – East Zone, held at Casey Fields.

In the JN15 Category, Thomas Fenner finished in 1st place with Miller Marks-Boulton coming home in 3rd. Jordan Graziano enjoyed his first cycling race, Sam Thompson was back riding after breaking his wrist recently and Callum O’Connor rode with determination to finish his race.

The JN17 Category really dominated, taking the first 5 places. Finishing 1st was Rylan Hall, 2nd Lachlan Webb, 3rd Patrick Holloway, 4th Lachlan McPhee, 5th River Dixon and 8th Max Walton Briggs.

The final event of the day saw Max Blackwood finish 1st and David Somers 2nd.

Congratulations must go to all the riders on their efforts throughout the day.
