New Zealand Exchange – A Student Reflection

Across June and July, four boys in Year 9 from Berwick Grammar School visited Scots College, one of the premiere boys’ schools in Wellington, New Zealand.  Connor Beck wrote this reflection….

Over the last month I spent some time living in Wellington, and it is one of the most amazing things that I have done. Spending some time at Scots College was an eye-opening experience, but definitely a good one.

It was great going out of my comfort zone into a completely new environment with completely new people. Travelling through the countryside of the North Island and pushing myself to try some new things on the South Island was amazing.

Some of the highlights of our trips was going Bungy Jumping on the South Island, as well as riding the Shotover Jet.

Spending a month overseas was some of the most fun I have ever had and I would encourage anybody to apply for it next year.’
