Head of Campus Update – 12 May 2016

Time does fly – we are now in the middle of Term 2 and well and truly in the midst of an exciting and busy learning environment. As well as all the wonderful day-to-day/regular programs and experiences that our students are involved within the Junior School, this term also sees us engaging with a number of other events and co-curricular opportunities.

Our Family Life program for Year 4, 5 and 6 has commenced with the parent session held on Monday 2 May and classroom sessions about to commence; early morning cross country training has been undertaken; musical rehearsals are happening; our first Parent Forum has been held and the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing for Year 3 and 5 has been completed for another year.

In amongst all this, we have enjoyed and hosted another very successful St Margaret’s Interschool Netball Challenge over 2 days which involved more than 18 schools and over 30 teams (girls and mixed). We were very lucky with the weather which provided perfect conditions for both days and are appreciative of the wonderful ongoing involvement of Noone Imagewear in supporting this unique community event.
