Debating

DAV Debating
At the conclusion of each debating season, the Swannie is awarded by the DAV to a competitor in each grade for each region who has achieved the highest average speaker score. This award acknowledges the excellent speaking and argument skills displayed in the competition over at least three debates during the year. Year 9 student, Sabrina Ward, is to be congratulated on achieving the Swannie Award in the Berwick region for D grade. This is a wonderful accomplishment and well-deserved as Sabrina has been a committed member of the St Margaret’s Debating team, working hard both individually and with her team mates to prepare and present debates.
