Bad Science Show!
The Bad Science Show uses humour and magic to highlight the difference between evidence and belief. Nicholas Johnson is an award winning science communicator who has a degree in Science and a background in the world of circus.
This week our Year 7 and 8 students took part in a true or false quiz that helped debunk some widely held ‘scientific’ misconceptions, they watched as he performed ‘mind reading’ and walked on a path of broken glass.
The Science curriculum at St Margaret’s and Berwick Grammar encourages students to enquire, explore and be able to apply knowledge and think critically when evaluating information; this is really the central theme of the Bad Science Show.
