This week the Year 2 students participated in science experiments based on their Unit of Inquiry, How the World Works. The students investigated simple machines and the forces they require to make everyday life easier. The simple machines they explored included; levers, pulleys, wheel and axel, inclined planes, wedges and screws. The wonder and excitement was evident when the students tested their hypotheses to examine how simple machines could make life easier.
The Year 2 students are very excited about creating their own invention using their knowledge of simple machines next week.
