Thailand Service Experience

This optional hands on experience breaks down the ethnocentricity that students may feel about their own country being the best or the only way to live. Living and working in a local village on a specific project further helps students to develop positive attitudes toward other countries and allow for further curiosities to be explored through research, travel, and developing leadership skills. Senior students are encouraged to participate in the Thai Service Project as part of their Certificate of Global Citizenship as an excellent way to enhance their leadership practice and to develop greater contexts and understanding.
