Year 7 reflection on BGS

At a recent assembly, we asked a Year 7 student to reflect on the start of his journey here and Berwick Grammar, and what it was like to become part of our community.  Krish Gupta volunteered and stunned the audience of 200 boys with his confident presentation and heartfelt message about his first few weeks at Berwick Grammar. Here is a section of his speech:

Today I’m going to talk about my BGS experience. I am in Year 7 and this is my first time here. Now let’s go to the very start, on the first day here, I was presented into Forsyth, clearly the best House group. Then I was acquainted to all the wonderful teachers. The things I love about BGS are the extracurricular activities, such as Debating and SIS sport which will be next term. I am also looking forward to joining different clubs throughout the year, currently I have joined the chess club, which is enjoyable as it is one of my favourite hobbies. Every day I arrive early to school so that I can hone my skills at Table Tennis by practicing with my friends.’

What a great start to the year made by Krish and all his peers.
