Visual Communication Design

As part of our Unit 3 studies in Visual Communication Design, we had the opportunity to visit several displays and presentations to develop our understanding of local architecture and to see examples of exceptional VCE work firsthand.

Beginning at Bunjil Place in Narre Warren, we discussed the inspiration behind the organic architecture of the center, before viewing VCE design works from the Casey region in the display gallery.

We also travelled to Melbourne museum and took part in the Top Designs Forums, receiving advice from assessors and gaining knowledge and inspiration for our own folios. It was an excellent opportunity to hear from an experienced Architect and Illustrator and we were able to ask questions to understand the application of design thinking skills in work after school.
