The NCSS Challenge

Last term we had a small number of Year 9 students participate in the NCSS Python Programming Beginners  Challenge.

The NCSS Challenge is run for school students by the School of Information Technologies at the University of Sydney. Each week for 5 weeks, a set of Python programming resources are distributed to participants together with a set of questions testing their knowledge of this material and problem solving skills. Participants have a week to submit their solutions to the Challenge website where they are judged.

Victor Cai received a certificate of perfection for completing a perfect challenge, while Trent Mitchell and Zane Rubaie received certificates of merit.
