School Aerobics National Finals
St Margaret’s School had two teams qualify to compete in the School Aerobics National Finals at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday 7 August. From the 840 schools across Australia who competed in school aerobics in 2016, our two teams both managed to claim medals in their category, Secondary Stage 1. The Junior team All Stars won the Silver medal and our Senior team Ultra Energy won the Bronze.

This was a fantastic achievement in our first year participating in secondary school aerobics. Thanks to our dedicated coach Katie Martin for training and preparing the teams.

Cyan Macleod – Highland Dancing
Year 8 student Cyan Macleod has recently competed in the British Open Championships for Highland Dancing in Mussleburgh, Scotland. She has managed to place third overall in the 14 years category. Congratulations Cyan on this fantastic achievement.
