Ski Trip

Students in Year 10, 11 and 12 recently enjoyed an amazing weekend of skiing and snowboarding at Falls Creek. The bus was buzzing with excitement on the journey to the mountain, but with gale-force winds forecast for Saturday, we were anxious about the possibility of not being able to ski at all. However, the sun rose on a spectacular, crystal clear sky with not a breath of wind. The girls had an outstanding weekend of skiing. The first-time and beginner students remarked on how the more experienced skiers helped them to improve their skills. The experienced skiers were given greater challenges by their instructors and were able to push themselves to improve. It was delightful to see the courage and persistence demonstrated by our students. It was a memorable journey for everyone involved. I would like to extend my thanks to Dr Allen, Mr Bourke, Ms Stiles and Brielle Shiels for giving up their weekend to support the girls.
