New Zealand Exchange

I recently participated in the New Zealand exchange offered by BGS and Scots College. In the last month I have experienced plenty of what New Zealand has to offer. Whilst in New Zealand, my host family showed me many of the sights in the North Island and also took me on various activities. I was lucky enough to be able to go fishing in Lake Taupo and managed to reel in a 50cm Rainbow trout!  I also got to go jet boating at Huka Falls, Prawn fishing and Luging (tobogganing down a concrete track). The City that my host family live in is Wellington, and I got to see New Zealand’s National Rugby Team, The All Blacks, play Wales at Wellington Stadium. I also had the opportunity to experience Scots College. Going to Scots was a great experience, the school has plenty of sport and many other opportunities that I was able to participate in, including playing for their Soccer team. I would highly recommend participating in the New Zealand exchange as it gives you a really good look into what life in New Zealand is like as well as getting great opportunities to make new friends.
