Colours Assembly

End of semester is always a time where we get to celebrate student achievements with the awarding of Colours.

Although Academic Colours data is only finalised over the holidays, on the second last day of term we were still able to award students with Colours for Service, Enrichment, Performing Arts and excellent contribution to Sport overall and in specific sports.

We certainly are helping develop Renaissance men at Berwick Grammar School!

Many boys across Year 11 and 12 and even one boy in Year 10 were honoured on the day and it was wonderful to see so many parents come to share the celebration.

We were also delighted with two very special musical performances, showing the incredible talents of Berwick Grammar Singers.  Firstly, Ben Scarborough of Year 10 performed ‘Mr Cellophane’ from the musical Chicago, the very act that earned him a spot in this year’s master’s Recital.  And at the end of the assembly, he joined the rest of the vocal ensemble for a spirited performance of the classic, Beyond the Sea.

The Academic Colours and Awards Assembly on 1 August will share this same spirit of celebration.
