Christmas Cheer at Peter Mac

The St Margaret’s School Chamber Voices performed at the new Peter McCallum Cancer Hospital on Thursday 1 December. The girls delighted the many staff, patients and visitors with their wide range of A Cappella Christmas carols and songs. They sang in the Atrium which is a large area on the ground floor where you can see all the floors above and below and the sound from the Atrium reached all areas. After singing for an hour in the main area, we ventured through the wards and were able to bring some Christmas cheer to those who could not make it out to the Atrium. The spirit of giving was alive and well! 2016 is the 34th consecutive year that St Margaret’s School choristers have sung carols at Peter McCallum Hospital.
