Charlotte aux pêches

Year 9 French students recently completed their choice of tasks in an Independent Learning Assignment.

One of the tasks involved reading, translating and creating an authentic French regional recipe, Charlotte aux pêches. This recipe has been used by the department since the 1980s as an extension and hands-on activity and it is one of the recipes submitted for publication in the 90^th Anniversary School Cookbook.

The final products were brought to school last week for judging by the Food Tech department and photographing by the Art Department, to select the winning entry for the cookbook. Congratulations to the winner, Phoebe Sinclair, who achieved a perfect score for her work!
