1st in Victoria for French at Education Perfect Languages Championships

Education Perfect (formerly Language Perfect) is an online tool used by many schools around Australia and indeed around the world to enhance classroom teaching. Every year they run some competitions… And there is nothing like a bit of competition to engage the minds of boys.

The Language Championships were open for one week between the 27th of August and the 3rd of September. It was a 7-day online event celebrating learning and achievement in Languages. With approximately 200,000 participants, this is a great opportunity to inspire students’ language learning while they competed on a global scale.

This year the boys at BGS outdid themselves. They came first in Victoria for French Language in their school size category (51-100 students). They came third in Australia and seventh globally. What a terrific achievement! Well done boys!

This was a school effort. Every question answered added to the total amount of points that enabled BGS to be in this leading position. The leading individuals for BGS were also EP award winners. Below is the list of winners.

Silver Award (2000 pts or more)
Xavier Kusli (Year 8) and Jake Giddins (Year 8)
