Apply to Become an International Education Agent for the School

Become an appointed International Education Recruitment Representative

St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar is a registered CRICOS provider with a license to have up to 60 international students (VISA 500) studying Secondary Years (7 - 12)  education through to Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). As we are a homestay school we can only accept students who are over the age of 13 into our Senior Girls and Senior Boys school.

Our primary marketing and recruitment of international students are undertaken via our network of education agents, who we aspire to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with.

We aim to achieve this by providing regular support and information about our school to our agents including:

• Materials
• Newsletters
• Event support
• Regular meetings (online and face-to-face)
• Responsive turnaround times
• Competitive commission rates
• On-time payment of commissions 6 weeks from semester census

To become an agent we expect our agents to

• Have a positive reputation
• Have experience in recruiting and managing students
• Have a recognised qualification like PIER or AEI
• Put the student and their family first
• Understand the Australian Education Landscape
• Aware of the ESOS Act and National Code
• Develop a strong understanding of our school and actively promote it.

Our student onboarding process is flexible

We are happy to review students ahead of receiving an official application which needs to include a copy of their AEAS test results (unless they have been studying in an Australian School for more than a year).

Our Admission Process Requires

  • AEAS or IDAT Test Results
  • The last two school reports
  • An interview (Face-to-Face or Online)

English language is critical and becomes increasingly critical the higher the year level the student is planning to join our school, as an ability to understand and participate in class, with teachers and other students is critical to a student being successful. English language capability is, therefore, the #1 attribute we look for. This is why our admissions criteria are flexible.
