The Student Council is an important forum for all students at St Margaret's starting from Year 4. It is here, through elected Form Representatives, that the voice of students is clearly heard.

A President and Secretary at Year 12 level ably lead the Senior School Student Council. The students who hold these important positions are nominated and elected by their peers in year level and by the members of the Student Council.

In the Junior School Student Council, Year 6 students have also the opportunity to lead and discuss issues that are relevant to their needs and concerns.
